Adopting a kitten should not be done lightly. You'e committing for several years, financially and personally. Sphynx are extremely dependent on their masters, they need a lot of attention and care from you. Your Sphynx won't like being left alone at home for a whole week-end like an ordinary cat.
Are you ready to take care of such a dependent cat, to give him all the love he deserves? To support him financially? If you are, you made the right decision and you won't regret it : to try it is to love it!
Our kittens leave for their new family when they're 3 and a half or 4 months, depending on the kitten. Their stay at our home, with their parents, will allow them to learn what a well-balanced cat needs to know. They will be perfectly weaned.
We will make sure that the cat is sociable, by presenting him with various situations he may encounter throughout his life (vacuum cleaner, other animals, children, noise...). It will make his integration into your environment easier, as well as his leaving..
The cat will leave sterilized, with a chip, vaccinated (Calicivirus, Rhinotracheitis, Panleukopenia), worm-free, with :
• Health Record booklet • LOOF pedigree • identification card • copy of parent's HCM tests results • certificate of good health established by a vet before the departure of the kitten • sale contract • departure kit (food and cat litter the kitten is used to) • small blanket with his family's smell • small toy • short booklet of advice on Sphynxes |
Of course, we follow the evolution of each of our kittens after they leave the cattery, and we are at your disposal to answer questions throughout the cat's life.
As the fight against HCM is essential and vital for the well-being of our breeding, we ask for the future parents to submit their cats to cardiac echographs and to let us know about the results. By doing so you will help to maintain the longevity of the race and you will be able, if necessary, to treat your cat with the adapted treatment as soon as he needs it. We will also let you know about the parents' tests results.
Because we helped his mommy give him life, we shared the first four months of his life, and we were his first biped parents, it's very important for us to be kept informed of what they're up to.
If, for any reason, it is impossible for you to keep the kitten, we wish to have him back so that we can find him a new family that fits him.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you wish to know more !
